Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Fatehgarh Sahib organized the live webcast of interaction of Hon’ble Prime Minister with farmers on 20th June 2018 at 9:30 am”. Shri Narendra Modi interacted with progressive farmers of different states through video conferencing. The progressive farmers and farm women of different states discussed about the agricultural enterprise they have adopted and the role of KVKs for their up liftment and encouragement. Shri Narendra Modi encouraged all the farmers to consider these progressive farmers as role models and take steps to start new agricultural ventures based on the agricultural technology recommended by agricultural universities.

About 75 farmers and farm women participate in this event. On this occasion, the scientists of KVK delivered lectures in their respective fields. Mrs. Reet Verma gave information on nursery root dip treatment with bio-fertilizers for paddy and with fungicide for basmati rice. Dr. Arvindpreet Kaur explained about the various activities and technologies related to agriculture and subsidiary occupation. Dr. Ajay Singh gave vote of thanks to the farmers and farm women.
