KVK, Fatehgarh Sahib is a premier grass root level vocational training institute designed to impart need based, skill oriented training programmes in agriculture analyzed on sustainable basis and also promoting generation of self employment among the unemployed rural youth. KVK, Fatehgarh Sahib is acting as nodal agricultural institute in the district. All the new recommended technologies are disseminated among the farmers, farmwomen in the presence of agriculture extension officers.
